So much has been going on. <div><br /></div><div>First off on Friday we had a birthday party (finally) for Scott. Nothing like procrastinating (plus I only had a <i>few</i> things going on since the end of March). :D Well we finally did it and I think they had a great time. We had several boys over for dinner and cake. We did hot dogs for dinner. (High class dinner right there!) They could either have chili dogs or regular (with ketsup and mustard). I was surprised at how many liked the chili dogs. Yeay for cheep meals that make everyone happy!</div><div><br /></div><div>After dinner we rushed right into dessert. Brownies with ice cream and hot fudge sauce. Baby M&M's sprinkled all over it. Good stuff! I had some hot fudge sunday cake in the oven because that is really what Scott wanted but by the time I got done feeding Emily, changing her diaper, feeding her again and finally gave up and put her in the swing screaming, the cake was going into the oven late. It came out of the oven as the boys were running out the door to the $3 theater to watch Rango. Oh well, it didn't go to waste. I wish I could say the same thing with my waist. :D</div><div><br /></div><div>Everyone had a great time. (I think Jeff did too.) Andrew was excited to be included in going to the movies with the big kids and I think that is what he wants to do for his birthday party this year. We made a deal with the kids that we would definitely do a "Friend" party on their odd year birthdays. (That way, I only have to stress about doing a party every other year.) </div><div><br /></div><div>Saturday was my birthday and it dawned with the sun shining and the potential for temperatures in the upper 80's. We were not at all excited (typed with as much sarcasm dripping as I could manage) since all we have seen for a long time is nothing but rain. The kids were begging to swim (even though we warned them it would be cold) so after breakfast in bed, we packed a picnic and headed off to the lake. </div><div><br /></div><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi6EB2WY4wj_AWr2FeRwOYpKpqH_69JD8Ojd5aw0VfsO7-xj19iG5HT1x_H-jUSMS14lybzMAgOspC3Ccc-pjehtHoXTMPhlZc8YuAPgOiB92i2NRkppsQanNLQHEBQWIdqsh8XB8tpjaof/s1600/5-30+thru+6-5+015.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi6EB2WY4wj_AWr2FeRwOYpKpqH_69JD8Ojd5aw0VfsO7-xj19iG5HT1x_H-jUSMS14lybzMAgOspC3Ccc-pjehtHoXTMPhlZc8YuAPgOiB92i2NRkppsQanNLQHEBQWIdqsh8XB8tpjaof/s320/5-30+thru+6-5+015.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5615205373262494594" /></a><br /></div><div>We found a nice spot of shade close to the shore for Emily and me while the kids stripped down to their swim suits and went running to the water. But I guess as long as it isn't his friends (or his family in front of his friends) he is okay. :D<div><br /></div><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgjRH-gWhNjHnuCx1uaYo93OSZ5XNUhzkPedKKSZXJBXZxRkHFoGY0k_YWrnGdg0eiauMEH5ZyRNx6qoc83JDh544x0j4y9Rp3MEBw8bDvQtYj5QJJZLDEEe1QW4ZOzYfa-q9Andb4fzQW1/s1600/spring+2011+013.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgjRH-gWhNjHnuCx1uaYo93OSZ5XNUhzkPedKKSZXJBXZxRkHFoGY0k_YWrnGdg0eiauMEH5ZyRNx6qoc83JDh544x0j4y9Rp3MEBw8bDvQtYj5QJJZLDEEe1QW4ZOzYfa-q9Andb4fzQW1/s320/spring+2011+013.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5613847936926011090" /></a><br /><div>Scott is now 11 years old and he is okay with that because he is getting ready to go into Middle School. Yes! You read correctly. Middle School! I can hardly believe it... my baby boy is no longer in Elementary. It is such a strange thought that he is moving on. I remember going into Junior High and I KNOW I was so much older and more mature than I see him. Strange how a mothers view of her children tries to keep them little, helpless and dependent. Well at least some of the time. We of course are not counting the times that he is driving me nuts and I can hardly wait for him to "grow up!" But I don't think it will matter how old he gets... he will still be my baby boy.</div><div><br /></div><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiRVHHNc9pkSD41D-r3G6CsIa7GpcM6JeuI8xWfPGwNh2JPACTs3q4iMoCqmMWutUwfXEqzRtXMaudsfGKUBOO1HSTVRiYmoBirDWhl4mTWQycdfQ2VNnKK9sTOHa7aTIT_Mt9pe1SsHhn0/s1600/spring+2011+007.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiRVHHNc9pkSD41D-r3G6CsIa7GpcM6JeuI8xWfPGwNh2JPACTs3q4iMoCqmMWutUwfXEqzRtXMaudsfGKUBOO1HSTVRiYmoBirDWhl4mTWQycdfQ2VNnKK9sTOHa7aTIT_Mt9pe1SsHhn0/s320/spring+2011+007.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5613847931545419074" /></a><br /></div><div>Scott is really enjoying being in with the Scouts now. He had his crossing over ceremony in May, so now it is official that he is a BOY Scout. Not to be confused with a CUB Scout. :) I think there were some of the Pack meeting things that he really enjoyed (like treats) but hopefully he will get to have the occasional treat with the Scouts. He has added that as part of the Boy Scout Law... " A scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, cheerful, brave, thrifty, clean, and reverent. (and HUNGRY!!)" Funny how much like his father Scott is. I asked Jeff to recite for me the Law as I typed it, not knowing before hand that I was going to add Scott's addition at the end. Ya, didn't need to add it. Jeff did for me with a laugh. "We always added that at the end," he says with the twinkle in his eye that I just love. Those are my men! Hungry!!</div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div></div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjyGNq-7f-4gz8c_Y5-Hzu8NHmbRMpfhXVK3z6LF83uB6UpiKP5AsSYEbOJ0b424el8Z3HFRUw764K6kO_6cL8OPyP28SDoyF8Sz3Uz4vixE9aEIoijDHgov1KI4SfUYTEwEk7qpRDedOFD/s1600/baby+%2526+kids+356.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjyGNq-7f-4gz8c_Y5-Hzu8NHmbRMpfhXVK3z6LF83uB6UpiKP5AsSYEbOJ0b424el8Z3HFRUw764K6kO_6cL8OPyP28SDoyF8Sz3Uz4vixE9aEIoijDHgov1KI4SfUYTEwEk7qpRDedOFD/s320/baby+%2526+kids+356.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5613847939759547282" /></a><br />Yup.... that's my Scotty! Our Amy is amazing!! She is an amazing helper. An amazing 3rd grader (holy crap!) An amazing chef. Amazing at pretty much everything she does. Yup... she is amazing!!</div><div><br /></div><div>Amy loves to dance as you can tell by the picture of her dancing to my 90's hair band music on the iPod. :) The "rock on" sign always flashing as the music bumps. There is usually some karate kicks somewhere in her dance routine along with a bunch of ballet. :D</div><div><br /></div><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjgH_UxkPSZJBH5aeIBozzCvXh00193s1Rw41pyM_4dqWkIo7TmXOYNWkKJLEfcBaJzHMtDUMI9jj_RPngSAPuvpkLPakSXoOSrHIKB8RT2I4EFf5F008xoP03X1b9EBfVzZQvPCksbXGpC/s1600/baby+%2526+kids+251.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjgH_UxkPSZJBH5aeIBozzCvXh00193s1Rw41pyM_4dqWkIo7TmXOYNWkKJLEfcBaJzHMtDUMI9jj_RPngSAPuvpkLPakSXoOSrHIKB8RT2I4EFf5F008xoP03X1b9EBfVzZQvPCksbXGpC/s320/baby+%2526+kids+251.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5613773150451208722" /></a><br /></div><div>Amy also loves to bake! She made her own birthday cake! I am so glad she loves to do it. Especially with both Grandma and I hovering over her trying to teach her (at the same time) what she needed to do next. She was so very patient with us both. There silently humoring both of us as we passed on our baking knowledge. :D I finally took a step back and enjoyed watching her and Grandma working together to make the cake that turned out fabulous!! She really enjoyed having Grandma there teaching her.</div><div><br /></div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhlUbYMRCpiWNSBQYAHDiExDzUgRtqEdBrv3FHMt78ZJCclg3EJjVC2jEPzoT7x8n2fN0xx7qHBxwCsYQfwqxHTbboOK6-mjlCJufEnk3_3A7IfFb8BXDZ_xHznLXyTJ4B9goe5LqeoeK8J/s1600/spring+2011+017.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhlUbYMRCpiWNSBQYAHDiExDzUgRtqEdBrv3FHMt78ZJCclg3EJjVC2jEPzoT7x8n2fN0xx7qHBxwCsYQfwqxHTbboOK6-mjlCJufEnk3_3A7IfFb8BXDZ_xHznLXyTJ4B9goe5LqeoeK8J/s320/spring+2011+017.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5613773160328484290" /></a>She is also really good at coming up with her own recipes. These are her latest creations. Benyays (don't know how to spell it) but it comes from the movie "Princess and the Frog". She toasted some bread, drizzled it with honey and then dusted it with powdered sugar. Not too bad. I have learned to try her creations with a smile and hope that I can hold them on my face especially with some of her more "creative" creations. :D<div><br /></div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhiBy0nXpzAOSQnoxqXXxvqjP9YM0P3Kc5vqSUnLdw0vDIRogIsSvzImlkhT0gwnzx-hLuPp8S2B2zwW_odWv3hPhkDV4frcvompgnVLfKJOc0vWcRO-6R-_lAyYIeW0Jx0CyC37Kc7gGGw/s1600/baby+%2526+kids+392.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhiBy0nXpzAOSQnoxqXXxvqjP9YM0P3Kc5vqSUnLdw0vDIRogIsSvzImlkhT0gwnzx-hLuPp8S2B2zwW_odWv3hPhkDV4frcvompgnVLfKJOc0vWcRO-6R-_lAyYIeW0Jx0CyC37Kc7gGGw/s320/baby+%2526+kids+392.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5613773151027764802" /></a><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div><div><div>She had a great birthday! Can't believe that she is 9! I mean really.... where did the time go? I remember her being Emily's size, Laura's age and going to Kindergarten like Andrew. Now she is in 3rd grade and loving it! She loves her math and writing. She comes home with the most creative stories complete with pictures. </div><div><br /></div><div>She just got done with track. She did the standing long jump, tug-o-war and softball throw. Her favorite was, by far, the tug-o-war where her school took 2nd. They almost got 1st but her team got tired at the last minute and the other team stole the victory. </div><div><br /></div><div>She is also doing piano lessons. She just moved on to her second book which she is very excited about. It was really neat for her to look at the beginning of her last book and see how far she had come. Her favorite song for a while was "London's Clock" or something like that. She would go down first thing in the morning and play the clock so that everyone would know it was time to come down for scriptures. Scott on the other hand.... ya... not his favorite. He likes his sleep. "Stop playing that song Amy" would shortly be yelled down the stairs, which just made her play it that much louder. :) That's my girl. Torturing her brothers every chance she can.</div><div><br /></div><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhmkWMq1gQRNzlYPigYX3QC5_VI9ykeLbM3cMj2OMdzzPBsrgb7gUuLMWc2P-_VgLyeDhGyEIQ-8QOlYAmbDr4AhW037P_hdUNEVyObUcr6XKUzh3Wzs6LQ63sdEVUkdLqHUbkjwZ-XKbeD/s1600/spring+2011+016.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="text-align: left;display: block; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: auto; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px; " src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhmkWMq1gQRNzlYPigYX3QC5_VI9ykeLbM3cMj2OMdzzPBsrgb7gUuLMWc2P-_VgLyeDhGyEIQ-8QOlYAmbDr4AhW037P_hdUNEVyObUcr6XKUzh3Wzs6LQ63sdEVUkdLqHUbkjwZ-XKbeD/s320/spring+2011+016.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5613773158020127202" /></a></div><div><br /><br /><br /></div></div></div>Keri McLauchlinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06876272304489944433noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3109415092157661033.post-69274062498284648772011-06-02T16:22:00.001-07:002011-06-02T16:40:18.121-07:00Mom... my name is Andy!<div>So I have come to a horrible realization..... I don't have very many pictures of our Andrew.... I mean Andy! It's not like he isn't there or even quiet. Nope, he is very witty and has quite the way of thinking about things and expressing himself. I just don't manage to get him in too many pictures because he is so very busy. Andy has loved Kindergarten! Thus the reason I think that he has changed from Andrew to Andy. He doesn't mind me calling him Andrew still.... which is good. He will always be Andrew to his Mommy! He just came home from school one day and announced to all of us at dinner... "You can call me Andy now because Andy is short for Andrew."</div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiF3PH6d032eLELhsQqj7WCcT07N_FHPJpe_aLYXILuY0tmQzUY3DNlqRON7guk4aLm-4P9GpoPRn5SKqGPq-4QJL_l2EICLOB2wzAq9Ld_yhFcOxABz-aER5BYktIGVSAOepEXsxPdgOHJ/s1600/baby+%2526+kids+241.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiF3PH6d032eLELhsQqj7WCcT07N_FHPJpe_aLYXILuY0tmQzUY3DNlqRON7guk4aLm-4P9GpoPRn5SKqGPq-4QJL_l2EICLOB2wzAq9Ld_yhFcOxABz-aER5BYktIGVSAOepEXsxPdgOHJ/s320/baby+%2526+kids+241.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5613767914055664018" /></a><br /><div>Andy has enjoyed so many things this year. From going to school and piano lessons (short lived unfortunately), to riding his bike and Beyblades. He is boy thru and thru! Tough as nails (until he needs his mom.) So glad that they never outgrow that!</div><div><br /></div><div>Andrew is doing so good at reading. He can read most of the words by himself when we are doing our family scriptures in the morning. He is also very good at math. It just blows me away that they are reading, writing and doing math (addition) in Kindergarten. I remember Kindergarten as being a big long play time. Making butterflies or hearts with crayon shavings. Coloring all day long and of course playing outside on the slides. Amazing how things have changed since I was a kid. :D</div>Keri McLauchlinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06876272304489944433noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3109415092157661033.post-13528402669435731482011-06-02T15:51:00.001-07:002011-06-02T16:20:53.891-07:00Laura LouWow.... Where to start with Miss Laura.... She is growing... of course. She loves to have her picture taken! As both my phone and computer pictures can attest to. She sees me take the camera out to capture Emily or various other things and there she is... "Mommy, me! MEEE!!!" "Okay... okay." I say to her. "CHEESE!!" She says and then strikes a pose. Such a little picture hog! But we love her.<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj544g-tJGpg9gdCFczw9d9Z3Kmiov5Gc70Fg8Ol1uCB65_Nd-3zTliNNz1v32c1OMH8B4ujS1eQljSCeW-uhiWO8p7g1pNK46wJ_6oDLeit4Vgbi4yhC7O03NoWfJ3KqdjqR2H4xQDdKfI/s1600/spring+2011+036.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj544g-tJGpg9gdCFczw9d9Z3Kmiov5Gc70Fg8Ol1uCB65_Nd-3zTliNNz1v32c1OMH8B4ujS1eQljSCeW-uhiWO8p7g1pNK46wJ_6oDLeit4Vgbi4yhC7O03NoWfJ3KqdjqR2H4xQDdKfI/s320/spring+2011+036.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5613759332874820690" /></a><br />Her curls are the best. After the haircutting incident a while ago. (Where a 3 year old aspiring hair dresser named Maddie cut all her curls off to the scalp.) We have done pixxy cuts on her for a while. She is very cute in short hair. But I am glad that her hair comes back curly each time it grows out. It is about time for another hair cut and I am debating about having it done. I love her curls but her hair is hanging in her eyes. Decisions... decisions.<div><br /></div><div>We (okay Jeff) put in hardwood floors while he was home helping me recover from having Emily. It was quite the undertaking. We love them (although keeping them swept and clean is another thing)! Laura found that on the cold days she could hover over the furnace vents and get nice and warm. I remember doing that as a kid too. Only I would twist myself up in the curtains that hung in the front room (much to mom's dismay because I am sure that I almost pulled them down more than once) and shimmy over to the vent. Such a warm little cocoon I had there. It was fun to watch Laura discover this all on her own. And of course when I pulled out the camera to capture it.... well.... a photo shoot then followed.<br /><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgq6zf67BP6sYO6VU2JId_rGZDertlHJldc7vj3rAO8Jxe-jowIbJdKynu7mc_t511s4IBTJ0BW4XRBCTMIIpAJ0VZ6CS6QrRWRo8CG65P31GxDjA_baPpHWUX7aeIW0z8_mnOXK0WPLqeb/s1600/spring+2011+023.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgq6zf67BP6sYO6VU2JId_rGZDertlHJldc7vj3rAO8Jxe-jowIbJdKynu7mc_t511s4IBTJ0BW4XRBCTMIIpAJ0VZ6CS6QrRWRo8CG65P31GxDjA_baPpHWUX7aeIW0z8_mnOXK0WPLqeb/s320/spring+2011+023.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5613759327517647826" /></a><br />While Papa and Grandma where here visiting from Utah, the kids convinced them to take them to the school park to play. Laura would not leave the house without her trusty cape that I am sure one of these times that I wash it will totally fall apart. A cute (yellow) pile of strings will be all that will remain of this wonderful cape that Grandma made for Scott when he was Laura's size. <br /><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiO0qlfXDBo0zzPZzjqqkz6dZxguEhJ2Ki0AFe2nYr8WkvwuzTEUjC6XdTgpYuTiSZ5gyp9i8rzShN81-Xu5FPh72xfTA_l6x3o_FTefOQAErc3KdnXtSyaXHPn0HnZaNaVK1RZ7NidX-Q2/s1600/spring+2011+002.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiO0qlfXDBo0zzPZzjqqkz6dZxguEhJ2Ki0AFe2nYr8WkvwuzTEUjC6XdTgpYuTiSZ5gyp9i8rzShN81-Xu5FPh72xfTA_l6x3o_FTefOQAErc3KdnXtSyaXHPn0HnZaNaVK1RZ7NidX-Q2/s320/spring+2011+002.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5613759318997669106" /></a><br /></div><div>Most of the time this cape and a diaper is about all that is on Laura during the day. It is a sure battle when it comes time to get dressed to go anywhere and she doesn't want to be. So what did I do when I had to take Jeff to the airport first thing in the morning and then rush to the school right after for a meeting (before school started) with Scott's teachers and other school personnel??? I did what any good mother would do! Make her get dressed in clothes fit for public??? Nope!!! I took her in her onesie and the trusty cape! :D Yup... that's me! Mother of the Year! Always has it together! Never seen in public without make up on, hair done beautifully, and the kids looking perfect. Ya.... maybe next year! :) I even got a comment from the Vice Principle at school. Thankfully it was a compliment (I think). She said that it was good to see that not all mothers have it all together that early in the morning. She commended me for not trying to kill myself to have the kids look perfect. Glad my hard work (throwing her in the truck half dressed) paid off. :)</div>Keri McLauchlinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06876272304489944433noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3109415092157661033.post-29295599087429661282011-06-02T14:41:00.000-07:002011-06-02T15:50:30.784-07:00Welcome Little EmilyOkay.... so I really stink at blogging. I want to do better so thus I will try again. <div><br /><div>We now have 5 children..... and yes I am crazy! I love the shock factor of saying that to strangers that see me out in public. :D "Oh how cute," they say to me as they look in the car seat at Emily. Laura of course is in the background (or not so background) flashing her darling dimples and talking to everyone we meet. "You have such cute girls!" I of course smile and say thank you. I am humble like that. "You just have the two?" they then ask me. Here comes my favorite part..... I hold up 5 fingers and watch their jaws drop. With "You are crazy!" plain to be seen in their eyes. Yes.... I have 5 children and I am crazy. At least a little bit. You have to be not to go totally insane in the chaos and confusion that usually follows me around. Not that I don't desire a non-crazy life. Oh it would be nice! But the time for that is coming. (At least I keep telling myself that.) :D</div><div><br /></div><div>So here is a little bit of what has been happening in our family as of late.</div></div><div><br /></div><div>Emily is now 2 months old and growing way too fast! She started out at 7 lbs. 8.8 oz. More than a full pound bigger than all of our other kids. </div><div><br /></div><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYaaQX7x6_SiUnfgXfH3JYmFAXNnbaEo4mawQrgBtFmGPUZz8Tbudad4OBqaBPlK2mEVwgQuswhtW1hl_Y5JWSNB2XqjoaZbWNi-j7DbOwFsNuWWpZmV7lKXjRs2qgF0cX7k8mlM27z6K9/s1600/baby+%2526+kids+390.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYaaQX7x6_SiUnfgXfH3JYmFAXNnbaEo4mawQrgBtFmGPUZz8Tbudad4OBqaBPlK2mEVwgQuswhtW1hl_Y5JWSNB2XqjoaZbWNi-j7DbOwFsNuWWpZmV7lKXjRs2qgF0cX7k8mlM27z6K9/s320/baby+%2526+kids+390.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5613755855045629314" /></a><br /></div><div><br /></div><div>At her last appointment she weighed in at 11 lbs 9.5 oz. I am happy to report that she has cute fat little thighs and a double chin. So glad that they look cute on her. Her favorite thing to do is be strapped to me, asleep in her Moby. (Please disregard the toothpaste splatters all over the mirror. That issue is discussed below. :D )</div><div><br /></div><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQlLkpNHlfySogA0sbBCRy-QMcCGZdK7yRbefPavFIMt1qMKmTS3f6KdNSaseL2nBz6y_n8xicOrij8kwS9JVLBrBxl8QGw9z8f3n0JozdToQpyKQ7V3gK2k6WciJhFqrTgnt5nWVXFAEC/s1600/spring+2011+075.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQlLkpNHlfySogA0sbBCRy-QMcCGZdK7yRbefPavFIMt1qMKmTS3f6KdNSaseL2nBz6y_n8xicOrij8kwS9JVLBrBxl8QGw9z8f3n0JozdToQpyKQ7V3gK2k6WciJhFqrTgnt5nWVXFAEC/s320/spring+2011+075.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5613755853473461378" /></a><br /></div><div>I love the thing! Yeay for having two hands to do stuff with. I sort of feel pregnant in it. It is hard to do dishes, vacuum and sweep. And almost impossible to do laundry in but the good thing.... I can take it off and have my body back to do all the stuff that needs to be done with little to no pain. (Except for in my butt because as soon as it is done, I turn around and it is all there.... waiting for me to do it all over again. Ahh the joys of never ending housework.)</div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiuZ9drywz5qRwVJELVXodIA0IkS3yeU8jPf7vWXrJbkGxmcNSS_j4Z2Aa6PboXRiKd8D2PVJJspESucaxdaNzGU3EBuGzTu_8zffgS8RL3cnx1j7wUhn28H7UZobAB68GJIh7wZmwtvfln/s1600/spring+2011+053.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiuZ9drywz5qRwVJELVXodIA0IkS3yeU8jPf7vWXrJbkGxmcNSS_j4Z2Aa6PboXRiKd8D2PVJJspESucaxdaNzGU3EBuGzTu_8zffgS8RL3cnx1j7wUhn28H7UZobAB68GJIh7wZmwtvfln/s320/spring+2011+053.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5613757884773040498" /></a><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span"><u><br /></u></span></div>Emily's newest thing to do is smile. Yeay!!<br /><br />The kids are growing like crazy. Scott is in 4th grade and doing really well. Amy is in 2nd grade and loves it. (She is still the tallest in the class. Which she loves.) Andrew is enjoying his time at home with me during the day. He turned five just the other day and is already excited to go to school. Oh and by the way, his next birthday is 360 something days away. He started asking when his next birthday was the day after. Silly boy! Laura is now 1 and still as cute as a button. She loves to say "HI" to anyone we walk past in the store. Of course they think that she is just the cutest thing and she eats it up, flashing her dimples. Such a cutie.<br /><br />I will get some pictures posted soon. We love you all and miss you.Keri McLauchlinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06876272304489944433noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3109415092157661033.post-1125690022098979252009-11-06T16:48:00.001-08:002009-11-06T16:48:52.430-08:00Hello AgainKeri McLauchlinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06876272304489944433noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3109415092157661033.post-75663710723122779092009-04-03T14:51:00.001-07:002009-04-03T15:46:23.010-07:00Hooray... Spring is here!!Well we are getting settled into our new home. Glad to know we are here for a while now. (No moving for a while, yippee!!) I am still trying to get pictures of the house up so that everyone can see what it looks like. I keep thinking, "I will do that as soon as the pictures are up and it actually looks like a home." Well... I still haven't gotten the pictures up and there are boxes still sitting around. But don't worry.... one of these days I will get it all done and take some pictures. We do love it and it is nice to know that this home is ours. (Stop trying to put holes in the walls with chairs and toys, kids!!!)<br /><br />We got some new bookcases for the front room as you can see in the back ground. They are really nice and holds a lot of books and then some, like our games. I am surprised at how many books we have. There is a lot more in the bookcases then I thought that we had. Makes it look nice though.... almost like a library. Now if we just had some comfy chairs to sit in...... :). Laura had such a good time "helping" me unpack the boxes. Her favorite was the one with toys. Lots of smaller, painful to step on toys. But her smile says it all!<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh0b8fPeDht5rQV8E7IeQQEKAang5SwR8IDjpLtcDaN2A7AAyR9iq1RdzMyPAWsjdL6QBl6pxg6j7YNWDMR3-Gnpx74byLnLo-f9E3E6HqgFX_vXmKYYxJ5VoVm7M2FUKgpiRaKKJtJbieh/s1600-h/12.08+to+4.09+154.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh0b8fPeDht5rQV8E7IeQQEKAang5SwR8IDjpLtcDaN2A7AAyR9iq1RdzMyPAWsjdL6QBl6pxg6j7YNWDMR3-Gnpx74byLnLo-f9E3E6HqgFX_vXmKYYxJ5VoVm7M2FUKgpiRaKKJtJbieh/s320/12.08+to+4.09+154.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5320588695444340674" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br />Laura's new favorite thing is bubble baths. The bubbles are fun to slap and see fly. Generates many belly laughs! Besides they taste so yummy... see her little tongue?!?! The kids love to see her splash and so by the time bath time is over, the bathroom is a mess and everyone's sides hurt. Good times!<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhMJ33pD-xtwR8UGOzB9sNj3uUjN9hiD4r5kA4Vlb5FZedSjSRVPSnYeq4Grl7qubQhrOZ8_nfF2eoAbGtgVCPh3ST0LsaB_W7qH48zg-iuPHAJfd73C2mdb4LKTnlbsTzRG5cZeKMa2213/s1600-h/12.08+to+4.09+162.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhMJ33pD-xtwR8UGOzB9sNj3uUjN9hiD4r5kA4Vlb5FZedSjSRVPSnYeq4Grl7qubQhrOZ8_nfF2eoAbGtgVCPh3ST0LsaB_W7qH48zg-iuPHAJfd73C2mdb4LKTnlbsTzRG5cZeKMa2213/s320/12.08+to+4.09+162.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5320588694136810626" border="0" /></a><br />I just love this one. She is reading really well and spelling too. She had Uncle Mikey fooled for a while in a chat. he he<br /><br />Scott is struggling with the more advanced curriculum and keeping up with the kids that are used to the routines, rules and teacher. We are all trying to be patient with the struggles of a new school and getting things with his 504 plan where they need to be to help him with his concentration skills. But I know we will get it and that Scott will remember he loves school. Right?!?! Especially when it doesn't start until 9:30 in the morning. So nice to sleep in.... when Laura permits.<br /><br />Andrew loves having time at home with just mom (and Laura). We love to read stories and make cookies, watch movies, do laundry, sweep and vacuum to name a few. He is such a good little helper. He is getting good at telling me what letters and numbers he sees and he is starting to learn certain small words by sight and can spell them to me. He is just so smart. Too smart sometimes..."When I say N O, I mean NO mom and when I say Y E S, I mean Yes." Okay, so which is it going to be, Andrew? "N O, mom. Okay!!" Little smarty pants.<br /><br />Laura is just about to crawl. She has the army crawl down to a fast science. She is getting up on her hands and knees a lot more now and it won't be long until we will have to be teaching her the art of stair climbing and descending. (New experience with that. Never had stairs before.) She can sit up now and has strong legs for jumping. She really likes her Cheerios, chicken nuggets and bananas and of course... chocolate. She is after all her mommy's girl!!Keri McLauchlinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06876272304489944433noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3109415092157661033.post-32632480581933701692009-02-08T18:44:00.001-08:002009-02-08T19:01:04.768-08:00Finally another post!I am finally getting around to posting again. Life has been a little crazy. So here are the updates.<br /><br />Laura now has two teeth and knows what to do with them. She got the first one about two weeks ago. She is coming up on 7 months old and weighed 14 pounds at her last doctor appointment. She is rolling all over the place now and likes the freedom although I now have to be a lot better about making sure the floors are picked up. (Dang Lego's) :D She loves Cheerios and bananas and thinks she is big stuff when she is sitting up by herself. Cutie Pie!!<br /><br />Andrew is doing good. Today at church we were standing by the primary bulletin and he started telling us all the individual letters. Pretty impressive little kiddo. He gave a talk in primary and did a really good job. <br /><br />Amy is doing great on her reading. She is in a higher reading level than most of her class and we are all really proud of her. She is working on telling time, writing and addition. I am getting really good at reading phonetically. :)<br /><br />Scott is loving reading and doing good in school. He is getting excited to get a new bike and start training with Jeff. I don't know what they will be training for but getting exercise will be good.<br /><br />Okay, so we are moving. Hopefully closing this week. Still don't know. Kinda frustrating but.... well, you do what you can. We are busy packing. That is when I am not entertaining children, getting them out of stuff they shouldn't be in, ect. Feeling the stress of having to de-junk, pack, and still run a functioning household. Ha ha ha Stress is the understatement of the year on that sentence. De-junking is a good feeling though! Haven't done that for a long time.<br /><br />I will do my best to keep everybody posted on our house and if we will indeed be moving in on Valentines.Keri McLauchlinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06876272304489944433noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3109415092157661033.post-55737692361782412082008-12-23T17:11:00.000-08:002009-01-08T00:06:18.816-08:00Let It Snow.. Let It Snow... Let It SnowYes.... let it snow.... and it definately has. Over the last 5 days we have gotten a "little snow." On Saturday we put a ruler on top of the van and we were at 12" then. Saturday night we had about a half inch of freezing rain that compacted the snow a little. Then we got another 12 + inches over the next couple of days.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiXMsU0NDXT2DMown_yU4a4M9TLV8gn4Z6HNe5QDsBOGOnseYAa5YF3x3lv3ZNlpIydHwRQM2_V39GuG83wAuw8mOU87wmXLwyuY07_YTFgTUHFY87P8q8lajjA1UX3UYGGxd-PS0mOy154/s1600-h/064.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiXMsU0NDXT2DMown_yU4a4M9TLV8gn4Z6HNe5QDsBOGOnseYAa5YF3x3lv3ZNlpIydHwRQM2_V39GuG83wAuw8mOU87wmXLwyuY07_YTFgTUHFY87P8q8lajjA1UX3UYGGxd-PS0mOy154/s320/064.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5283165631646245906" border="0" /></a><br />Can you spot our van with a ruler standing up straight on top of the windshield? I had Jeff take a picture of me standing in front of the van (thus the tracks in the snow) and the snow came up above my knees. The kids have had so much fun playing in the snow cause it is actually dry snow. We usually get a heavy wet snow. Good times were had by all.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhsi0BSP3fiDTrHtQmq9cHZlIzAbFi8Cj7NVywVCtCVX_FN1IuuBNbiWnozDq2woNMQYSNNeI5eKZSuvCrttJ85RiJeVSBNjcM0YzQ8DkzaC7uv9wNaoSnpxfSWT_hBVpWHDQ3Ah5n4-l5b/s1600-h/092.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhsi0BSP3fiDTrHtQmq9cHZlIzAbFi8Cj7NVywVCtCVX_FN1IuuBNbiWnozDq2woNMQYSNNeI5eKZSuvCrttJ85RiJeVSBNjcM0YzQ8DkzaC7uv9wNaoSnpxfSWT_hBVpWHDQ3Ah5n4-l5b/s320/092.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5283165627683412690" border="0" /></a><br />It was so cold that the snow wasn't melting anywhere but on top of the house cause of the heating. And we were freezing so it was up higher. It did result in some cool icicles. This one was hanging in thin air. Pretty cool!!<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgjjK5j0iWU90eMWNQOVIapJj0e4AIMgtLZYgomGcdARoTanV3XZyXwYY_nHG5S_JSj0KCW08EDOxPNXQQoFcOe_jV-BNaRLyAnSKV1duLRoMjAUeae07KwTRPRYh9dkhPinMewGLLoeFw4/s1600-h/111.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgjjK5j0iWU90eMWNQOVIapJj0e4AIMgtLZYgomGcdARoTanV3XZyXwYY_nHG5S_JSj0KCW08EDOxPNXQQoFcOe_jV-BNaRLyAnSKV1duLRoMjAUeae07KwTRPRYh9dkhPinMewGLLoeFw4/s320/111.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5283165643983550642" border="0" /></a><br />I didn't know that spider webs were this strong. It was fun taking pictures and watching water run down the web and over the icicle. It was really cool while it lasted and was gone in a few hours.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJzdA7tTRcsHcnAErUfsxzRsPmLuudFpoNH3cPDwVLnwr6o4hfc1j1Yg9tnHukJXKMCi77JGeRes-pd8bn-ZTSlTsesD17V6mflB33DOm5CdqfglHGKGcWjo-2TKsSd7EVrAohJqw9bYig/s1600-h/100.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJzdA7tTRcsHcnAErUfsxzRsPmLuudFpoNH3cPDwVLnwr6o4hfc1j1Yg9tnHukJXKMCi77JGeRes-pd8bn-ZTSlTsesD17V6mflB33DOm5CdqfglHGKGcWjo-2TKsSd7EVrAohJqw9bYig/s320/100.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5283165651583377650" border="0" /></a><br />I took some videos of the kids sledding. I will get those posted soon. I know that this is a little late. Things have been a little busy with kids out of school for so long. But I thought you would like to see the snow that we had. It is all gone now (thank goodness) and I am able to get out and do stuff.Keri McLauchlinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06876272304489944433noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3109415092157661033.post-267143139209078212008-12-05T10:26:00.000-08:002008-12-05T10:46:48.672-08:00December Alreadly!I can hardly believe that it is December and Christmas is just around the corner. I have managed to do a little decorating. More because the kids won't let me put it off. :) I will get some pictures posted soon of the tree. We had a good time as a family going to our usual U-cut place, picking out our tree and cutting it down. I think the kids just love the part about running around in all the trees hiding from and seeking for each other. Laura slept through the whole thing. She does love to lay under the tree and look at all the lights. She is getting pretty good at getting to the lights and the ornaments which to her are fun stuff to play with.<br /><br />Laura has started eating cereal now and when she is hungry actually enjoys swallowing it. If she isn't hungry... well lets just say she thinks it is funny to make a mess of it. (And so do the other kids.)<br /><br /><br /><br />Thanksgiving was fun. We went to the McLauchlin's and had a wonderful time. We ate a lot of food, watched some movies and of course, riding the 4-wheelers. Andrew thought it was so much fun to ride around on Grandpa's big one in the little seat in the back. Scott loved being on his own and Amy thought it was really neat that they went a whole 9 miles up a road and saw so much stuff. She was really impressed about the 9 miles for some reason. I was taking a nap at the time with Laura and didn't get any pictures of Amy on the 4-wheelers. But I know she had a good time driving her own too.Keri McLauchlinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06876272304489944433noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3109415092157661033.post-60375225355521575562008-11-16T17:15:00.000-08:002008-11-16T18:51:28.763-08:00This weekWell, lets see... Laura is now 4 months old and has exactly doubled her birth weight. She is now 12 lbs. 12 oz. Getting so big. I had to go through her wardrobe and take out all the newborn stuff. Kinda sad. But it was fun to get her the next size clothes. We got some really cute ones from a friend of Jeff's whose daughter, same age as Laura, is 18-19 lbs. First baby so we get some cute stuff. I love hand-me-downs!! Thanks Cindy. Laura is in the 20th percentile on weight, 26th for height (24" tall) and 66th on noggin size (42 cm.) She falls right in line with the rest of the kiddos. Hugh heads!! Lots of brains, right?!?!<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhzTpPImdqZ9KyKoBHaHVBC2gIMY4DfWlIvGy0k6-cxqea-d-fdF6IbkoPofvrMW7o0mTkepN_njxz8rHeaP6rvlHPemkkjI8c87IzB4PCLjFxOhfXfvw3jUoeB1ANawj00iz7-Keroz9m1/s1600-h/103.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhzTpPImdqZ9KyKoBHaHVBC2gIMY4DfWlIvGy0k6-cxqea-d-fdF6IbkoPofvrMW7o0mTkepN_njxz8rHeaP6rvlHPemkkjI8c87IzB4PCLjFxOhfXfvw3jUoeB1ANawj00iz7-Keroz9m1/s320/103.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5269438543043259090" border="0" /></a><br />Andrew had his 4 year check up at the same time. He showed the Doctor how impressive he is with his awesome skills of hoping, jumping, sitting still, breathing deep and of course how he is potty trained now and using cool underwear. At this point in the conversation with the doctor, he turned around, opened the back of his "gown" and bent over touching his toes, wiggling his cute little butt and said (though his legs) "Look, its Incredible Hulk underwear." The doctor, bless her heart, said in such a respectful voice... " That is so wonderful!! I love the Hulk!" Andrew positively beamed with pride. I was trying so hard to not bust a gut in the corner watching the whole interaction he was having with the doctor. When did our little boy get so big? Oh wait... he has always been a big boy! :D Anyway, he now weighs 49 lbs and is 42 1/2 " tall. She is learning to read and enjoys it a lot. She also lost her 8th tooth on Saturday at our ward Thanksgiving dinner. It was a very special thing for her to not have to have it ripped out with dental floss. I am just glad that she didn't swallow it. I didn't want to have to try and figure out how the Tooth Fairy was going to give her money for that. :) But apparently the Tooth Fairy is in big trouble because she didn't make it to Amy's tooth last night and now owes her double. I am so glad that Grandpa Bill was able to come up and spend some time with us. Even with all the crazy family things going on that same weekend. What a guy to roll with the punches! Sleeping on the couch and everything. ;) We wished that everyone could have come up but were grateful for those that did and know that the others were there in spirit. We are still waiting to hear about the house we are hopefully going to buy. We are just waiting for it to go through the Country Wide Mortgage quality control or something like that. Who knows how long that will take. But we are still waiting and hoping that we will be in by Thanksgiving and definitely before Christmas. I guess that we are learning patience.
